Baptist Health - Madisonville
Athletic training position with both clinical and high school outreach responsibilities.  Position open to all new grads to experienced AT’s.  Clinical responsibilities are within a team approach to musculoskeletal injuries (that include aquatic rehabilitation) within a fitness center.  A very competitive salary (additional pay for Master’s and years of experience), health & disability insurance, 401K plan, mileage reimbursement and, continuing education opportunities.  Our organization, Baptist Health Madisonville, is a integrated health care system located in western Kentucky.  The hospital, Baptist Health Madisonville, is a 410 bed hospital located in Madisonville, Ky, also includes the Mahr Cancer Center, The Center for Women’s Health, and the Center for Heart and Vascular Services.  Our clinical division has a large physician provider offices in Madisonville and as well as seven area outpatient clinics.  The Sports Medicine & Rehabilitation department provides for in-patient therapy needs at Baptist Health Madisonville as well as out-patient care in seven clinics (Madisonville, Hopkinsville, Princeton, and Dawson Springs)  Also within our out-patients facilities is our fitness component, Fitness Formula, open to the public and graduating patients.  Our athletic training outreach includes a staff of seven athletic trainers that proved coverage to six area high schools located in four counties of western Kentucky.  Our outreach athletic training program has been in operation for over 20 years.                                                                                                                                   Job Requirements:  NATA BOC Certified,  Kentucky State licenses (or eligible)

University of the Cumberlands (Graduate Assistant):

The University of the Cumberlands is seeking 2 Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainers for the 2016-2017 school year. Position details outlined below.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Graduate Assistant providing coverage within a competitive NAIA athletic program. Possible sport assignments might include: soccer/football/wrestling/basketball/lacrosse/volleyball/baseball/softball/archery/bowling or track & field (Assignment subject to change as need dictates) (Most assignments involve coverage of 2-3 sports per year)• Practice coverage, home event coverage and travel as negotiated with coaches, by need or assignment.                                            

ADMINISTRATIVE RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist in supervision of undergraduate work-study staff and First Aid Responders• Provide source of transportation to medical appointments for athletes if needed• Daily management of rehabilitation activities during assigned morning athletic training room hours•       Assist with On-campus physician clinics as assigned• Other responsibilities as assigned by the Head and/or Assistant Athletic Trainer(s)POSITION DURATION: 10 month contract (Summer hours negotiable)• Contract renewal yearly• Graduate Assistant positions are available until filled                                                      

EDUCATIONAL DEGREE OPPORTUNITIES: Master of Arts in Teaching (On-line format)(Does not require teaching certificate to enter) (2 year program)• MA in Education (requires a teaching certificate)(on-line format)Please note that admission to the UC Masters programs are subject to entrance criteria and books and on-line course fees ARE NOT included as part of the tuition remission at this time
